Volunteer Clearances

 

All adults, 18 and older, who volunteer or work with children and youth at FPC will need to complete the following before volunteering:

  1. Child Abuse Clearance - FREE for volunteers (Link to Child Abuse Clearance Website)

  2. PA Criminal Record Check - FREE for volunteers (Link to PA Online Website)

  3. (a) If you’ve NOT been a resident of PA for the last 10 consecutive years: FBI Fingerprinting - $22.60 (Link to Identogo website here)
    This option is for volunteers who have not been a resident of PA for the last 10 consecutive years.
    (b) If you HAVE been a PA resident for the last 10 consecutive years: A signed and notarized Volunteer Affidavit provided from the FPC Office. Email Scott Miser at smiser@fpcbeaver.com to schedule a time to sign and have the affidavit notarized.

Lynn Ellenberger, the Administrative Assistant at FPC Beaver can provide guidance and answer questions for the clearance process.

If the cost of the clearance process is a hardship, or if you have any questions, email Lynn at lellenberger@fpcbeaver.com or call the church office at (724) 774-6398.

Completed clearances must be on file at the church in order to volunteer or work with children or youth at FPC Beaver.

When you have your clearances please bring a copy for us to have on file here at the church.  These MUST be kept on file with the church. The clearances must be updated every 5 years.
